Taste of Batavia Block Party returns Sunday, Sept. 2

Batavia MainStreet will host the annual Downtown Batavia Block Party - Taste of Batavia from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 2, on North River Street and at the Peg Bond Center.

There will also be a variety of $3 and $6 alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages available and live music from locals Evan Reid and River City Revival, with headliners Dick Diamond and the Dusters.

The event includes a classic car cruise night, pie bake-off, a twist-off and Hula-Hoop competitions, as well as a children's activities area with free bounce houses.
