Share your comments on MCC with Higher Learning Commission

McHenry County College is seeking comments from the public about the college in preparation for a periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. MCC will host a visit Sept. 24-26 from a team of peer reviewers representing the Higher Learning Commission.

The team will review MCC's ongoing ability to meet the HLC's Criteria for Evaluation. MCC has been accredited by the commission since 1967.

Over the past year, MCC has been engaged in a process of self-study, conducted through a systems appraisal process, addressing the HLC's requirements and criteria for accreditation.

Comments must be submitted in writing and must address substantive matters related to the quality of the institution and/or its academic programs.

Submit comments to Higher Learning Commission at www.hlcommission.org/comment. All comments must be received by Monday, Aug. 27.
