Palatine Park District Showing Film Breaking Legs on August 17

Palatine Park District is showing a free back to school movie featuring Sony's school dance movie "Breaking Legs" on Friday, August 17 at 7:30pm. The movie will be shown outdoors at dusk at the Fred P. Hall Amphitheater, 256 E. Palatine Rd, Palatine.

Bring a blanket and your school spirit for a night of movie fun with your friends! Dress up in your favorite high school sports jersey and receive a free raffle entry for some Breaking Legs swag, gift cards, DVDs, and more! The event will include free raffles and giveaways, and concessions will be sold by Pizza Bella.

In "Breaking Legs," high school freshman Bloom joins the dance team at her new school. Bloom finds herself thrust into a sudden, venomous rivalry with the lead dancer when they're both nominated for the homecoming crown. This film is rated PG.
