Hampshire club to travel to Emerson Creek Pottery Aug. 21

Members of the Hampshire-Henpeck Unit of Home and Community Education will take a field trip to Emerson Creek Pottery and Tearoom in Oswego on Tuesday, Aug. 21. Members will be contacted with the final details.

Kane County Association for Home and Community Education's HCE Week will be celebrated Oct. 7-13.

This year's open house will be held during HCE Week on Oct. 10 at the county extension office, 535 S. Randall Road, St. Charles. Details will be forthcoming.

At the regular July 17 meeting, Hampshire-Henpeck HCE members enjoyed delicious treats from hostesses Lori Tasch and Barbara Mursu.

Hampshire-Henpeck-HCE is a unit of Kane County Association for Home and Community Education. Its goal is to bring education for the home and community. They work to promote social and economic well-being in their homes and neighborhoods. The meetings are usually held on the third Tuesday of the month at various locations. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
