DimoStrong Jam returns for its fourth year Aug. 11

Join the fourth annual DimoStrong Jam from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, at Imago, 216 Prairie St. in downtown Elgin.

The fundraising event features live music, raffles, silent art auction and exhibition, and "B-Boy/B-Girl" street dance competition.

The Legit Dog & Ice Food Truck will be offering food.

The artists featured in the exhibitition and silent art auction include: Stephanie Kelly, Brionna Sorret, Chris Bone, Pugs Atomz, Kristie Michael, Kreative Queens, Chelsea Haynes, Matt Meyers, Zach Alvarado, Carmen Jimenez, Hellcat, Tony Quirin, Ricky Ramirez, Ashley Composano, Joel Amore, and DIFF.

All proceeds from the event go to the DimoStrong Family Assistance Fund at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Help them in the fight against autoimmune disease.

DimoStrong is a 501(c)3 nonprofit based in Elgin raising awareness of autoimmune disease. Established in memory of Anthony "Dimo" Dimiceli and the inspiring strength he showed fighting the disease. The goals are to help other families dealing with an undiagnosed autoimmune disease and fund research initiatives that work toward finding a cure.
