Summer Place Theatre cuts 'Footloose' for two weekends

Remember the popular 1980s movie? "Footloose" was re-imagined as a musical in 1998 and has been updated to 2018 for this production of "Footloose" by Summer Place Theatre.

The young and energetic cast are ready to rock the Naperville Central High School auditorium for two weekends, July 27-29 and Aug. 3-5.

The story still resonates today as the show's teens and adults wrestle with generational differences and try to understand each other. Meanwhile, the rock 'n' roll favorites featured in the show will have everyone dancing in their seats.

Performances are held at the Naperville Central High School Auditorium, 440 W Aurora Ave. Parking is off West Street and the entrance is Door #24, on the west side of the school campus. Look for the Summer Place Theatre banners.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the box office on the day of the show. Group rates are available as well. For ticket and other information, see SummerPlaceTheatre.org/Shows/Footloose.
