Township of Schaumburg to Host 'Pack the Bus' School Supply Drive August 4th and 5th

The Township of Schaumburg, in partnership with Schaumburg School District 54, Target and Township High School District 211 will host the second annual Pack the Bus school supply drive on Saturday, August 4th from 11-4pm and Sunday, August 5th from 12-4pm at Target at 2621 W. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg, Illinois. All donations will benefit District 54 low-income youth.

The Township will also be collecting school supplies and monetary donations at the Township building at One Illinois Boulevard, Hoffman Estates, IL until the end of August.

"We believe no student should have to worry about having a pencil, notebook or backpack on the first day of school," said Diana Nelson, Township of Schaumburg Associate Director of Program Support and Community Outreach. "With the generosity of our community, we hope to take away the pressure of the first day of school by getting school supplies in the hands of the students who would otherwise be without."
