"We are excited to be celebrating 10 years of 'Play On', Oakton's playwriting festival," Oakton Student Life Program Assistant Simi Khurana, co-coordinator of the festival, says. "The festival has really grown and spread since its inception. We started with opening this festival to just Oakton students in 2009, and expanded first to Illinois community college students and then as a regional festival in 2013. Now in 2018, we're accepting storytelling monologues. We love seeing the students direct and work the festival, but most importantly, we love providing the playwrights with the opportunity to see their play come alive onstage."

Tickets are $10 for general admission and may also be purchased online by visiting https://protect-us.mimecast.com/s/-i42C82Yy7HkDR3CnQm2r?domain=oakton.edu. Proceeds benefit the Oakton Performing Arts Scholarship Fund.
