Hersey High senior named to all-American dive team

• Nick Nocita, a John Hersey High School senior, was named a member of the 2017-2018 National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association/Speedo all-American Dive Team.

Nocita had to undergo a rigorous selection process that included submission of videos of several dives done during the competition season. These dives were judged by a panel of national judges, and those scores were combined with other requirements to produce a ranking used to select the team.

Nocita is the first diver in the history of Hersey's Dive program to receive all-American status.
