Chapel Hill Road bridge to open temporarily for holiday

The Chapel Hill Road bridge over the Fox River will be open temporarily to through traffic for the Independence Day holiday and into the following weekend.

The bridge opened to traffic early Tuesday afternoon and will stay open through 9 a.m. July 9.

In order to complete remaining construction work, the bridge requires another closure for motor vehicles; however, emergency vehicles will be granted access during the remainder of the project.

The Chapel Hill Road bridge will be open permanently to all traffic on or before July 30, 2018.
