MCC presentation to feature nearly 100 years of U.S. history

Reminisce various events throughout our history when the Retired Adult Program at McHenry County College hosts "U.S. History and Today," a presentation by John LeGear, from 1 to 3:50 p.m. Thursday, June 28, in Room A117 at the college, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

This vibrant presentation touches on every year since the beginning of the first World War and recaps vital events that have defined our society. This presentation will recap headliner events since the beginning of World War I in 1914 and will blend in some of Hollywood's most memorable moments with film and music clips to illustrate how cultural events often reflect real life.

Cost is $15. Use course code NRA S35 002 to register. This event requires a one-year RAP membership to enroll. The RAP membership fee is $25 annually and is renewable every June 1. The fee is applicable to new and renewing members. Participants must have a valid RAP membership. use course code NRA C01 009 to enroll in RAP classes and programs.
