Learn how to create a genealogy research checklist June 28

The Kane County Genealogical Society will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 28, at the Batavia Public Library, Route 31 and Wilson Street, Batavia.

This will be a joint meeting for patrons of the Batavia Public Library and the Kane County Genealogical Society.

Note, the meeting will start at 7 p.m., this is half-hour earlier than the usual meetings.

You do not want to miss this meeting. Thomas MacEntee will be the presenter. He is a nationally recognized professional speaker specializing in the use of technology and social media to improve genealogy research and has a way to connect others in the family history community.

The presentation will be "Did I Get Everything? Creating A Genealogy Research Checklist." Have you really finished researching that ancestor? Many genealogists think they have a brick wall when, in fact, they just haven't done a "reasonably exhaustive search."
