Mount Prospect's Fridays on the Green Concert Series Returns June 8

A Mount Prospect tradition continues this summer with the Fridays on the Green Concert Series. Concerts are held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on the Centennial Green, located outside of Village Hall at 50 S. Emerson Street. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and picnics to this family-friendly event. Stop by one of downtown Mount Prospect's fabulous dining establishments to pick up dinner and enjoy a night under the stars listening to great music and enjoying the company of neighbors and friends. You can also grab a bite before or after the concert, and enjoy hanging out in downtown Mount Prospect.

This year's musical line-up features bands performing the hits of '80s and '90s, country and more. Here is the 2018 lineup:

June 8: Ken Dix & The Friday Night Lawn Jockeys (Rock Hits from the 90s - today)

June 22: Sushi Roll (High Energy Pop & Rock)

July 13: Suburban Cowboys (Country)

August 10: Petty Kings (Tom Petty Tribute)

Free parking is available in the Village Hall Parking Garage, East Commuter Lot (after 5 pm) and throughout downtown. For more information, visit experiencemountprospect.org.
