Be a Part of the Saint Viator High School Million Dollar Classic Golf Outing

Slots for foursomes and individual golfers are now available for the annual Saint Viator Million Dollar Classic golf outing, which raises funds to support Saint Viator athletics. The event takes place on Monday, June 18th at the Ivanhoe Club in Mundelein.

The event is open to men and women of all skill levels on a course that will host the Rust-Oleum Championship on the PGA Web.com Tour the week before the Million Dollar Classic. In addition to 18 holes of golf, the daylong event includes lunch, dinner, prizes, and a raffle for all participants.

"The Million Dollar Classic is a wonderful event, especially for alumni and parents of current or past students," said Tom Ramsden, Vice-President of Development at Saint Viator High School. "It's an excellent opportunity to get outside, play a great golf course, and connect with the Saint Viator community. Plus, you'll be supporting our student athletes and athletic programs."

Over 80 percent of Saint Viator students participate in at least one of the twenty-six sports offered each year. The Million Dollar Classic benefits those programs and in recent years, has provided funding for the hiring of a strength and conditioning coach, the purchase of minibuses and other items that keep the athletic program running strong.

Tickets for the Million Dollar Classic can be purchased on line at www.saintviator.com/million-dollar-classic. Guests also have the option of purchasing tickets for the dinner only. Sponsorship opportunities are also available for the event.

Ramsden recently appeared on an episode of the schools podcast series to discuss the event. The interview can be downloaded at https://bit.ly/2InQDbM.

Saint Viator High School is a Catholic, College Preparatory high school where Tradition and Innovation meet.
