College Without Going Broke

Wondering how to pay for your child's college? For many parents of high school students, the thought of sending your child to college keeps you up at night.

Lora Georgieva, Certified College Planner with Destination College, will present a free College Planning Seminar, May 17, 6:30 - 7:30 pm at Vernon Area Library, 300 Old Half Day Road, Lincolnshire.

"The cost of attending college has increased over 200% over the last 20 years, leaving most households with sky high student debt," Georgieva noted. "The pressure of applying and paying for college has been one of the leading causes for anxiety and depression among seniors in high school."

"Luckily, we've been able to take the stress away from students and parents by developing a proven admission and financial aid system, which we would like to provide to you by attending this FREE event," she said. "By attending this event you will learn college planning secrets that will help your children with college admission, and save you thousands on tuition."

In addition, a special guest, who is a former director of admissions with Northwestern University, will share admission tips.

"We've been able to save our clients over $80,000 in college expenses during their children undergraduate studies," Georgieva said.
