MCC to host annual plant sale May 9-10

Gardeners are invited to select their favorite flowers, vegetables and herbs at the McHenry County College Spring Plant Sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 9 and Thursday, May 10, in the MCC Greenhouse, located in Building D. The college is located at 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake.

The plant sale will feature annuals, perennials, vegetables, herbs, hanging baskets, container gardens and more.

Clear out your vehicle trunk, line it with plastic and come early for the very for the best selection.

Students in MCC's "Introduction to Horticulture" class have been growing and caring for the plants. All proceeds will support the MCC Horticulture Department.

Payments by cash or checks made out to MCC are accepted.
