WIM Fox Valley to celebrate a successful year with May 3 dinner

Members and guests are welcome to attend the WIM Fox Valley celebration dinner on Thursday, May 3, at the McGraw Wildlife Foundation, 14N322 Route 25 in Dundee.

Networking and a cocktail party begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $30 for members and $33 for nonmembers. Area women in business are welcome to attend this month's presentation. Reservations must be made for attendance online at www.wimfoxvalley.org.

Meeting sponsor is Presence Saint Joseph Hospital Elgin and its N.E.W. You Center, an innovative wellness center focused on prevention of metabolic syndrome, a group of risk factors that raises a person's risk of developing heart disease, diabetes or stroke.

"This is the last meeting of our business year until we begin again in September," said Michelle Groeper, WIM president. "Our evening meeting gives us an opportunity to relax, network with each other, and celebrate the accomplishments of this year, including our scholarship winners. It also gives us the opportunity to honor members who have been part of our organization with significant anniversaries."

WIM Fox Valley was founded in 1984 as the Northern Fox Valley Chapter of Women in Management.

It continues its legacy as Women Inspiring Mentoring and is a leading women's business organization in Elgin providing professional development and business education scholarships and mentoring opportunities for area women.
