Grande Reserve Elementary hosts annual McTeacher's Night fundraiser

Grande Reserve Elementary School held their annual McTeacher's Night Fundraiser at the Oswego McDonald's on Orchard Road.

A McTeacher's Night is organized to help raise money for local schools by having teachers work at McDonald's and then giving a percentage of the night's sales back to the local school. What an amazing night for Field School.

On Tuesday, April 10, the restaurant was taken over by eight Grande Reserve teachers and administrative staff, including Assistant Principal Michelle Breyne, excited to serve freshly prepared meals to students and their families. Teachers also handed out orders, cleaned tables, served drinks, sold freshly baked pies and even dressed up in a pie costume. Teacher Todd Hillier dressed in the pie outfit the entire night and what a blast he had mingling with all the families and taking pictures.

The funds earned from the evening will go toward Teacher Appreciation Week.

A special thank you goes to the school's PTO, who organized the event as well as everyone who worked and attended.
