COD's inaugural Maker Market connects student entrepreneurs with customers

Eager shoppers flocked to College of DuPage's inaugural Maker Market this week to browse and purchase student makers' products and services.

Following opening remarks from COD President Dr. Ann Rondeau, Assistant Professor of Business Peter James, and Project Runway contestant and COD alumna Peach Carr, COD and community student entrepreneurs pitched their services and good to guests.

Hosted by the college's E2 Emerging Entrepreneurs program, the market comprised 27 booths and featured a broad range of products and services, including jewelry, hair and skin care products, cleaning services, software and web design, as well as a range of clothing products including custom graphic tees, dress designs and women's sportswear.
