Barrington's Parker Playhouse Present's Siran

Siran is an original musical written by 16 year old Barrington High School student Ashley Hornback with an original score by Kimberly Church of Kimberlyrics Music Lessons in East Dundee.

It's the story of a dystopian society led by a corrupted ruler, the hope of the rebellion, and the true power that hope can bring to even the darkest of situations.

The cast of Siran consists of Ashley, the writer, and the local talented students of Kimberlyrics Music Studio. Seventeen year old Jaqulyn Arendt plays Blythe, the hero who relies on the hope and support of her family to rise up as the champion they need. Other characters include Kieran (played by 12 year old Daniel Stevens of Barrington), Kai (played by 11 year old Elisabeth Farina), Ene (played by 16 year old Jessica Lee of Barrington), the Angel Narrator (played by 16 year old Heather Hess of Barrington) and Luna (played by 15 year old Hope Bitter of Barrington).

Siran will be presented at Barrington's Parker Playhouse on April 22nd at Noon and 3 PM. Tickets are $15-$20 and are available at parkerplayhousebarrington.org
