American English to celebrate every Beatles' No. 1 hit at ECC Arts Center April 28

American English, the acclaimed Beatles tribute band, will perform all 27 of the Fab Four's songs that reached number one on the Billboard charts at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 28, at the Elgin Community College Arts Center, Building H, 1700 Spartan Drive, Elgin.

The concert will honor those hits with spot-on performances of "Please Please Me," "Love Me Do," "She Loves You," "A Hard Day's Night," "I Feel Fine," "Ticket To Ride," "Paperback Writer," "Penny Lane," "All You Need Is Love," "Hey Jude," "Something," "The Long and Winding Road" and many more.

The performance also features additional surprises from the Beatles songbook including B-sides of George Harrison and Ringo Starr.

American English performances are widely known for paying precise attention to every musical detail, wardrobe design, vintage instruments and special effects, in what fans and critics have described as "The Complete Beatles Tribute!"

American English has won numerous awards including Illinois Entertainer of the Year and was voted "Best Tribute Band" three of the last four years by fans in the Chicagoland area. Their demand here and abroad, coupled with their spectacular fan base, has launched them into larger venues and theatres worldwide.

Tickets for ECC Arts Center's Centerstage performance of American English are $35.
