Elgin funeral home to host free planning seminar April 4

Symonds-Madison Funeral Home and Security National Life will host a free planning seminar from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 4, at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park St., Elgin IL 60120.

Local experts will present on pain management benefits, funeral pre-arrangements, estate planning, cremation and burial.

Refreshments and lunch will be complimentary for attendees. Doors open at 10 a.m. for tours and refreshments, and the seminar will begin at 11 a.m.

"Planning ahead can bring your family peace of mind, especially in cases of unexpected tragedy," said Daniel Symonds, owner and funeral director.
