Sign up for a Garden Workshop at Creek Bend Nature Center

Make your own garden during the Forest Preserve District of Kane County "Garden Workshop Series."

Join Forest Preserve District naturalists for a fun and interactive series of gardening programs. Attendees will learn about the natural and cultural impact of plants species that can grow in our home gardens. Following an informative discussion, participants will be provided with a pot, soil and plants to create their own arrangement to keep.

Go to one or both workshops.

The first workshop will be 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, April 8, at Creek Bend Nature Center, within LeRoy Oakes Forest Preserve at 37W700 Dean St., St. Charles. You'll be able to create an herb garden at this workshop.

The second workshop will be 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Sunday, April 22, at Creek Bend Nature Center where you'll create an "Earth Day garden."

Advance registration is required. Registration is $10 per person, per garden, and includes the materials. Call (630) 444-3190 or email programs@kaneforest.com to register.
