Downtown Lisle development's Pre-Leasing Center opens to public

After a sneak preview reception for community leaders, the Pre-Leasing Center for Marq on Main, Lisle's newest residential development in downtown Lisle will open to the public on Friday, March 23.

The facility will feature a full sample kitchen and bath, allowing prospective tenants a chance to see the quartz counters, cabinetry, flooring and lighting featured in the 201 one and two-bedroom apartments. The center is conveniently located in Burlington Square, 1045 Burlington Ave., Suite 4, across the street from the development.

"The center is beautiful," says Darlene Eagan, senior vice president for Marquette Management. "We are excited to meet our prospective tenants and the community and showcase what's in store at Marq on Main."

The Pre-Leasing Center will be open Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Marq on Main is situated at the corner of Main Street and Burlington Avenue, across from the Lisle Metra Station in the heart of downtown Lisle, with indoor parking for residents and tenants, as well as 35 new on-street parking spaces. Some 15,000 square feet of new commercial space will add restaurant and retail uses that will strengthen the commercial district, build foot traffic and enhance the downtown as an attractive dining destination. The development will feature a new public plaza offering outdoor dining at Main and Burlington, as well an additional public plaza at Spencer and Burlington, and two rooftop courtyards along Burlington Avenue.

" Many communities have benefited from transit-oriented development such as this, and we are looking forward to Marq on Main contributing to the economy of Lisle. We appreciate the commitment of the village, the chamber and the downtown merchants to help make this project reality."

Amenities residents can enjoy include a resort-style pool with cabanas and sun deck, as well as a pergola lounge, fire table and grilling stations. Indoors, residents will have access to a tech lounge with Wi-Fi and a coffee lounge available 24-hours. An on-site health club is also planned.

Marq on Main is pet-friendly and smoke-free. The development is now leasing for an expected July opening. The project is expected to be completed later this fall.
