Batavia Fine Arts Festival returns March 22

Batavia High School will host its sixth annual Batavia Fine Arts Festival Thursday, March 22, at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, 1201 Main St. The community is invited.

This free, indoor festival celebrates the arts and is designed for all ages. Listen to the talents of student musicians, have some laughs watching improv comedy, catch some of the best video productions of the year, or take in the beauty and emotion created by student artists. In addition, enjoy locally made ice cream and coffee in handcrafted ceramic bowls and mugs.

The doors open at 5 p.m.

Kimmer's ice cream social, featuring Batavia High students' handcrafted bowls and mugs, student artist tables, henna tattoo, graffiti walls, will be 5 to 7:30 p.m.

A performance by the Batavia High Chromatics will be 6 to 6:30 p.m., followed by a performance by the Batavia High Jazz Combo

from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

At 7:30 p.m., watch a video production showcase and performance by the Batavia High improv troupe, "But, Seriously Folks …"
