Auditions for COD Summer College Theatre April 21-22

General auditions for College of DuPage's summer repertory theater will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21, and 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, April 22, in the Studio Theater at the McAninch Arts Center on the Glen Ellyn campus, 425 Fawell Blvd.

The summer repertory theater includes productions of an improvisation show "Goldie's Next Big Adventure," directed by Theater Professor Amelia Barrett, and "The Addams Family - A New Musical," directed by Theater Department Chair Connie Canaday Howard.

"Goldie's Next Big Adventure" runs June 26 to July 15, while "The Addams Family" runs July 5 to 15.

No experience is required. Auditions include improvisation for the tour show, 16 to 32 bars prepared from a musical theater song and a dance combination for "The Addams Family." If cast, actors must register for Theater 2211. Permission to register for this class will take place following auditions.

Callbacks for "The Addams Family" only will be at 7 p.m. Monday, April 23, and will include cold readings.
