District 129 invites you to Fine Arts Festival March 3

West Aurora School District 129 invites the community to its annual Fine Arts Festival from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 3, at West Aurora High School, 1201 W. New York St., Aurora.

The free festival features music, song, dance, paintings, sculpture and other artwork from students, kindergarten through high school, attending all district schools.

View student artwork throughout the first floor halls of West Aurora High School. Be sure to visit the Sauk Gallery to see select artwork from District 129 students.

Live performances will occur in four venues:

• 10 a.m.: West High Jazz Ensemble

• 10:30 a.m.: Fearn Second Grade Dancers

• 11 a.m.: West High Jazz Band

• Noon: District129 Eighth Grade Festival Choir

• 1 p.m.: West High Stage Band

• 1:30 p.m.: Nicholson Drum Club

• 2 p.m.: West High Lab Band

• 10 a.m.: Smith School El Sistema Orchestra

• 10:30 a.m.: West High Symphonic Winds

• 11:30 a.m.: West Aurora High School Wind Ensemble

• 1 p.m.: Washington and Jefferson Seventh Grade Band with West High Wind Symphony

• 2 p.m.: Herget and Jewel Seventh Grade Band with West High Wind Symphony
