Improv Playhouse Dinner Theater presents a murder mystery

Submitted by Improv Playhouse

Guests can play detective, grill suspects and solve the crime when Improv Playhouse Dinner Theater presents a murder mystery dinner and interactive performance, "Bye, Bye Bucca."

The performance will take place from 7-9:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17, at the Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center's Meijer Black Box Theater.

An Improv Playhouse "detective" will lead the evening along with actors as the primary suspects while audience members participate to solve the crime.

"Bye, Bye Bucca" is the continuing saga of the Bucca Family during the Roaring 20s at its most nostalgic. Mobsters, flappers, union racketeering and Prohibition bootleg liquor is the theme of the evening … and so is love.

Props, storylines and planted clues will help solve the crime as the question is asked: "Who will be the new Godfather now that Sam Bucca is dead?"

A catered, multicourse dinner will be provided along with a romantic champagne toast. Guests can come in costume should they choose. Tickets are $50 per person. For information, visit www.improvplayhouse.com or call (847) 875-8578.

The Round Lake Beach Cultural and Civic Center is at 2007 Civic Center Way, Round Lake Beach.
