League to host candidate forums for McHenry County

Before the March 20 primary election, the League of Women Voters of McHenry County will host candidate forums for the community.

A candidate forum for the McHenry County Clerk's race will be held from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14 in Crystal Lake. There will be a meet-and-greet at 6:30 p.m., followed by the forum at 7 p.m.

On Sunday, Feb. 11, an election forum for McHenry County Board primary races will be held from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at McHenry County College.

A candidate forum for the 6th Congressional District primary race will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, at McHenry County College.

The League of Women Voters of Central Kane County will host an election forum for the primary candidates for the 14th Congressional District from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, at the Batavia Government Center, 100 N. Island Ave., Batavia.

The Indivisible IL 14 Candidate Expo will be noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, at Algonquin Area Public Library, 2600 Harnish Drive in Algonquin.
