Volunteer fair to showcase local opportunities Feb. 3

There are so many organizations dedicated to making the Tri-Cities a great place to live, work and play, and many could not operate without the help of people like you. The Batavia Park District will showcase those local resources from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 3, at the Eastside Community Center, 14 N. Van Buren St.

Stop by the Community Resource and Volunteer Fair to chat with representatives from local groups to find out how you can get involved and donate your time, expertise or resources. Whether you're interested in animals, education, or the arts, there's sure to be an organization that matches your passion!

Additional spots are available for nonprofits interested in becoming a vendor at the expo. The cost is just $15, which includes an eight-foot table, recruitment opportunities, and refreshments.
