Geneva Film Festival celebrates 10 years with sneak previews

The Geneva Film Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary with "Sneak Preview Events."

The first event will be held during the Live Art Series from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at Water Street Studios, 160 S. Water St., Batavia. Purchase at bit.ly/2yttVpL. Theater capacity is 70; reserve early. Refreshments will be available for sale, including beer and wine.

A screening will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 2, at Playhouse 38, 321 Stevens St., Geneva. Admission is $5; purchase at bit.ly/2BsGBAf. Capacity is 90; first-come, first-served. Refreshments will be available for sale, including beer and wine.

The previews include narrative features, documentaries, narrative shorts and animation. Come early; seating is limited.

The 10th annual Geneva Film Festival will be March 8-10. The festival is part of the Cultural Arts Commission in Geneva. It is run by a dedicated team of volunteers who devote their time and energy to producing world-class quality events for all involved.
