Naperville Park District to host job fair Feb. 24

Individuals seeking summer, seasonal or part-time employment are invited to learn more about job opportunities at the Naperville Park District by attending the district's Job Fair on Saturday, Feb. 24. The Job Fair will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, second floor, located at 305 W. Jackson Ave. in downtown Naperville.

The district relies on seasonal employees to support its summer camp program, special events and park maintenance. Although many positions at the Job Fair will be seasonal, there also may be some that are year-round, part-time positions, such as group fitness instructor or open gym attendant at Fort Hill Activity Center. As one of the area's largest employers of youth, the Naperville Park District offers a variety of seasonal positions that support facilities such as Centennial Beach, Naperbrook and Springbrook Golf Courses, the Riverwalk Café, the Paddleboat Quarry, and Knoch Knolls Nature Center.

"We are happy to host our third annual job fair," said Director of Human Resources Katie Sepe. "We invite all who are interested in part-time employment at the Park District to attend. It's a great opportunity to meet the hiring managers and find out more about the positions available."

Many of the job descriptions will be posted online prior to the job fair at www.napervilleparks.org and applicants may apply for positions ahead of time, or they may use the computers available at the fair to do so.
