It's Not Too Late to Join The Festival Chorus
On Monday, August 19, The Festival Chorus will have its first rehearsal for the December 8th Christmas concert. Why not join the group at 7:00pm to fill out a registration form, pay your fee and purchase your music? Then take a seat and enjoy preparing for "The Best Concert Ever!"
The music for this season includes FESTIVE NOELS (Bob Krogstad), THE FIRST FIRST NOEL (Dan Forrest), IF MUSIC BE THE FOOD OF LOVE (David C. Dickau), WHEN THE EARTH STANDS STILL (Don MacDonald), Ave Verum Corpus (W.A. Mozart), DECK THE HALL (arr. Mac Wilberg), HOPE (Joel Raney), and THREE HOLIDAY SONGS FROM "Home Alone" (John Williams.)
The chorus meets every Monday at Harper College Building P, room P202. The regular rehearsal time is 7:30 to 10 p.m. All interested singers are welcome. No auditions are necessary, but you may be asked to voice place to insure best choral sound.
