Schaumburg Township to host appeals seminar Jan. 22

Schaumburg Township Assessor John R. Lawson, along with Cook County Board of Review Commissioner Dan Patlak, Schaumburg Township officials and Cook County Commissioner Timothy O. Schneider, will host an appeals seminar at 6 p.m. Jan. 22. at 1 Illinois Blvd. in Hoffman Estates.

Patlak will explain appeal procedure and share tips for filing a successful appeal. Township and Cook County Board of Review office staff will be available to answer questions and assist residents in filing appeals on-site after the presentation.

The current appeals period closes Jan. 31.

Questions can be directed to the Schaumburg Township assessor's office at (847) 884-0030 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
