TownSquare Players to present 'The Little Mermaid' musical

TownSquare Players presents "Disney's The Little Mermaid The Musical" during the first three weekends in March at Woodstock Opera House, 121 W. Van Buren St. Performances will be 8 p.m. Fridays, 2 and 8 p.m. Saturdays, and 2 p.m. Sundays, March 2-18. There will be no evening performance on Saturday, March 3.

This spring, dive "Under the Sea" and splash around the magical world. Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen's most beloved stories and the classic animated film, it is a love story for the ages. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this fishy fable will capture your heart with its irresistible songs, including "Under the Sea," "Kiss the Girl" and "Part of Your World."
