Dundee Library offers Conversation Club

Spanish-speaking residents looking to practice English have been meeting at the Dundee Library in East Dundee for the "Conversation Club," where tutors from the Literacy Connection focus on specific issues, including: making a doctor's appointment, placing an emergency call, parent/teacher conferences, using the bank, and more.

Attendees increase their English vocabulary while learning to communicate in crucial situations.

The Conversation Club will meet from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Jan. 3, 17, 31, Feb. 14 and 28, at the Dundee Library, 555 Barrington Ave. in East Dundee.

This is a free group, and no registration is required. For more information, call Anna, who can assist you in English or Spanish, at (224) 699-5836 or email abuck@frvpld.info.
