Desmond Clark autograph signing to benefit Independence Center

Desmond "Dez" Clark, the former Chicago Bears tight end, is once again giving back to his community.

On Sunday, Dec. 10, Dez will sign complimentary autographs at The Claim Company in Vernon Hills to support The Independence Center. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. It includes a 50/50 raffle and exclusive giveaways. Fifteen percent of total purchases made at The Claim Company during event time will be generously donated to The Independence Center.

"We encourage all family and friends to take a break from holiday shopping, stop in for lunch and support this great community organization."

Desmond Clark is incredibly active in the community and is often seen giving back to various non-profit organizations. The Independence Center has been providing comprehensive programming including psychosocial rehabilitation, therapy, vocational training, and residential services for over 28 years. The growing need for services in Lake County is only exacerbated by the current political situation, including the potential for Members to lose affordable health insurance.
