District 212 Winter Art Exhibit at East and West

Leyden's winter art exhibits showcase students' artwork including drawings, paintings, ceramics, photographs and much more.

The West Leyden Winter Art Exhibit will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, December 6 and 7, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the school's auditorium lobby located at 1000 N. Wolf Rd., Northlake. An evening reception for the artists will be on December 6 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The East Leyden Winter Art Exhibit will be held on Thursday and Friday, December 7 and 8, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the Little Theatre at the school, 3400 Rose St., Franklin Park. An evening reception for the artists will be on December 6 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

A variety of artwork by students in Leyden art classes will be on display. Visit the art exhibits and see how the series of works take shape as the students near the end of multiple years in the district's art program.
