Village of Deerfield Proclaims November 20 Essence Pilates Day

Deerfield Mayor Harriet Rosenthal proclaimed Nov. 20, 2017 Essence Pilates Day. Essence Pilates Owner Marilee Papale Shipman was presented with the proclamation for her positive impact on the Village of Deerfield at the Nov. 20 village board meeting.

Rosenthal cited Papale Shipman's dedication to the appearance and upkeep of the Essence Pilates building and property as well as her leadership of Support Our Soldiers Freedom, Inc., a nonprofit that she founded to provide financial assistance to active duty military and veterans for expenses not covered by military benefits.

"I'm truly honored to receive this proclamation and to be part of such an amazing community," said Papale Shipman.
