Grayslake annual ecumenical Thanksgiving worship service

Grayslake's annual ecumenical Thanksgiving worship service will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 19, at United Protestant Church of Grayslake.

The ecumenical Thanksgiving worship service brings together the leaders and congregations of several Grayslake and Wildwood churches. The service will be held in the UPC sanctuary.

"Our hope is that the service will bring together people from several denominations to give God thanks for our many blessings," said the Rev. Joane Patton-Seaton, UPC interim pastor.

The service will feature a combined church choir and UPC's Grace Notes Bell Choir. Worshippers are invited to bring donations for the Avon Cares Food Pantry, and a time of fellowship and refreshments will immediately follow the service.
