Elgin Academy to offer Hilltopper Merit Scholarships for new high school students

For the 2018-19 academic year, Elgin Academy will offer Hilltopper Merit-Based Scholarships to any new high school students (grades 9-12) who demonstrate academic excellence through performance on the Independent School Entrance Exam.

The scholarships range from $2,500 to $7,500. The ISEE is a part of the application process at Elgin Academy, so applicants accepted for admission for Fall 2018 are automatically eligible for the scholarship. Testing dates are 8:30 a.m. to noon Dec. 9 or Jan. 6.

The scholarship is renewable for recipients who maintain at least a 3.5 semester grade-point average and remain in good standing in the school community.

For details regarding application and qualifying scores, contact Dr. Diane Schael, Elgin Academy director of admissions, at (847) 695-0303 or dschael@elginacademy.org.

Elgin Academy, located on 18 acres in downtown Elgin, is a prekindergarten through 12th grade school where taking learning personally defines our unique educational community.
