World War II documentary 'Heroes on Deck' to be shown Nov. 20

Learn about the bold and innovative response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor and the brave pilots who survived this ingenious training operation at a film screening and discussion of "Heroes on Deck" at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20, in Gail Borden Public Library's Meadows Community Rooms, 270 N. Grove Ave. in downtown Elgin.

Multi-Emmy Award-winning producer and editor Harvey Moshman, executive producer, will be here to discuss the film and answer questions. He also recently completed a national documentary on the discovery of a missing World War II American submarine, lost for more than 60 years that was found on the bottom of the Gulf of Thailand with its crew of 86 entombed on board.
