November 'Images' Highlights Veterans Day, Spirit Week

"Images," College of DuPage's monthly one-half hour television show, features in its November edition segments on the College's Veterans Services office and Veterans Day activities as well as Spirit Week events.

Each month, "Images" highlights the personalities, news and curriculum of a vibrant College of DuPage campus. The show airs on 13 area cable television stations.

The November "Images" highlights the College's Veterans Services program and upcoming Veterans Day activities. COD's Veterans Services program serves more veterans than any community college in Northern Illinois, according to the annual state report produced by the Illinois Student Assistance Commission. During the past 50 years, the College has served more than 25,000 veterans.

The show also features a segment on recent Spirit Week activities, which included an indoor carnival, inflatable games and service projects. Click here to view photos.

The November edition also features a segment on the College's Fashion Studies program, highlighting the classroom, lab and clinical settings that give students valuable hands-on experience. Students, faculty and instructors offer a general overview of the curriculum and its relevance to today's job market.

Images airs at various times on cable television stations in Downers Grove, Wheaton, Addison, Elmhurst, Glen Ellyn, Naperville, Glendale Heights, Bartlett, Lemont, Elk Grove, Darien, Aurora and West Chicago. Check local cable listings for times and channels.
