Port Barrington to host Halloween Fest, trick-or-treating Oct. 29

The Port Barrington R.E.C. Committee presents its Village Halloween-Fest from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29, at the village hall.

It will feature a Halloween party and costume contest.

There will be pizza and refreshments. Costume contests for kids up to age 12 start promptly at noon.

Prizes also awarded to the best family or group theme costumes.

Bring your carved jack-o'-lantern to the party for judging and prizes.

There will be a Pet Parade with costume judging.

The village trick-or-treating will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 29.

This is a free event, Nonperishable food items will be collected for the Wauconda Food Pantry.
