See 'People are Part of the Picture' exhibit at Lost Valley Center

The McHenry County Conservation District invites you to view "People are Part of the Picture" a photography exhibit by Marty Hackl, on display through Sunday, Oct. 29, at Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, Route 31 and Harts Road, Ringwood. This exhibit is free and is open to the public. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily.

McHenry County Conservation District is not just about beautiful open spaces, the incredible variety of plants, the wide range of habitats, or the magnificent wildlife it preserves. It is also about the people in the community it serves, and the staff and volunteers who help make it such a great resource for the region. This exhibit features a sampling of those people who love working, teaching, learning, and playing here.

Marty Hackl is a professional musician by trade. He is also an architectural historian, building contractor and tradesman specializing in historic preservation. He volunteers with the conservation district at the McConnell Farmstead and as nature photographer.
