Thousands of Ghosts, Goblins, Monsters and More Invade Palatine on October 28

Ghouls just want to have fun - so grab a group and join a spooky event for the 12th annual Halloween Hustle 5K and Kid's Dash in Palatine on Saturday, October 28, 2017, beginning on 345 N. Eric Drive at 8:30 a.m.

Bone chilling excitement will abound as participants don Halloween costumes, or a long sleeve dri-fit provided with registration. In addition to walkers and runners, 'Mummies' with children in their strollers and even the family dog (and their owners), are invited to get in on the fun.

"We're celebrating our 12th year hosting this event and it is fang-tastic to be building on that," said Aaron Del Mar, ASM founder. "There's no better way to kick off the Halloween weekend!"

Proceeds from The Halloween Hustle will benefit Fathers Helping Fathers, a national not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping fathers' rights in the areas of parenting skills and building solid relationships with their children.

Awards and customized Halloween Hustle finishers medals will be given to each participant who completes the course. There will also be an epic after party at Tap House Grill, 56 W. Wilson Street in downtown Palatine, immediately following the race.
