Fox Lake Historical Society to Host Antique Apprasial Luncheon on Oct. 22

The Fox Lake-Grant Township Area Historical Society will sponsor an Antique Appraisal Luncheon on Sunday, October 22nd, 11:30 AM, at Maravelas Banquet Hall in Ingleside.

This is a wildly popular event where appraiser, Karl Gates, speaks to the crowd about all of the items brought to the luncheon. Karl is very knowledgeable and shares stories and history in a fun and entertaining way. Tickets are only $30 and include lunch and one appraisal. (Lunch only is $25.) There is always at least one owner surprised by the value of their treasure.

The Historical Society is located in Ingleside, Illinois and operates the Grant Hall Museum at 411 Washington Street. This is a free museum and houses exhibits specific to the Fox Lake area as well as general history. The proceeds from this luncheon aid in the continued operation of the museum.
