Dr. Shah's Campaign Reports Strong 3rd Quarter Fundraising Total Of Nearly $310,000

Dr. Sapan Shah, Republican candidate for Congress in IL-10, today announced his campaign raised $309,779 despite only officially announcing his candidacy on September 12th. This fundraising total gives Dr. Shah a solid foundation to run an aggressive campaign for the primary and general election. Shah's campaign also filed with $305,949 cash on hand for the 9.30.17 Federal Election Commission 3rd Quarter reporting deadline.

"Clearly our message of bringing common sense and real-world experience to Washington has been well received," said Dr. Shah. "Our campaign officially started just a few weeks ago. The momentum of a campaign can be measured by the breadth and depth of its support, and today's result is an indicator that our campaign is off to a very fast start and continues to grow."

"Every day I hear from families and small business owners about the pains inflicted upon them from Washington. My commitment to this campaign, and to solving these issues facing our families is evidenced by my personal $100,000 donation to my campaign. I am so grateful for the support of individual donors who also believe it's time for common sense solutions in Washington and have not only matched but far exceeded my contribution," Dr. Shah concluded.
