A Golden Night for St. Paul Lutheran School at North Aurora McDonald's

A Golden Night under the Golden Arches for St. Paul Lutheran School at the North Aurora McDonald's

On Thursday, Sept. 14, St. Paul Lutheran School held its annual McTeacher's Night fundraiser at the North Aurora McDonald's at 190 Hansen Blvd.

Ten teachers and students took over the restaurant serving up delicious meals to friends and families of St. Paul Lutheran to help raise money for the seventh- and eighth-grade Washington D.C. trip.

The teachers and students worked hard all night long cleaning counters, working the drive-up, and singing for tips! Ronald McDonald stopped by to join in on the fun and posed for many pictures with the children and staff.

The school raised a total of $589 toward the trip. To add to that, the school's Parent-Teacher League generously matched up to $300 making the total earned for the night $889! A special thank you goes out to St. Paul Lutheran PTL member Louise DeWig, who organized the entire event.

The event was courtesy of the North Aurora McDonald's owner/operator, the Lardas family.
