Barrington Area Legislative Breakfast is Oct. 4

Local business leaders and the public are invited to hear first-hand updates from state legislators at the annual Barrington Area Legislative Breakfast hosted by the Barrington Area Chamber of Commerce, the Barrington Area Council on Governments, and Barrington School District 220.

The breakfast will take place Wednesday, Oct. 4, at The Garlands of Barrington, 1000 Garlands Lane in Barrington.

Confirmed speakers include: Senator Cristina Castro, Senator Dan McConchie, Senator Tom Rooney, Representative David McSweeney, Representative Anna Moeller, Representative Tom Morrison, and Representative Nick Sauer. Representative Fred Crespo is also invited to speak at the breakfast.

Speakers will provide state updates and a Q&A session will focus on issues related to business, government, and education, as well as audience questions.

Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m., followed promptly by the program at 8 a.m. and ending around 10 a.m.
